24^th of September is the official date of the public auction organized by Electrica company in order to acquire IT services. The total contract, for a period of 29 month, has an estimated value of 8,275 million euros without VAT.

The contract concerns IT services of archiving, data processing and storage, application recovery in care of software accidents, software development and configuration, for all the company’s distribution network.

Electrica, which is subordinated to the Ministry of Economics, announced that this acquisition comes as a necessity for an improvement in the storing, processing and data recovery system.

All the action participants will have to deposit a guaranty of 500.000 lei and a good execution guaranty of 5% from the total contract amount which will be constituted from successive holds from the amounts owed and partially invoiced.
