Blancco, the world’s greatest supplier of secured data destruction solutions has made plans to open a new office in Romania this year. Even though represented on our territory by Constantin Buda, Sales Manager for Eastern Europe, Blancco took the decision to open a new office because of the increasing market demand.

Part of the expansion process for Eastern Europe started in 2009, the new office will start with 3-5 employees and will increase along with demand.

In less than a year, Blancco managed to sell 9.000 licenses in Romania to companies from finance and banking, pharmaceutical industry and non-governmental organizations and to develop a strategic partnership with Crescendo International. Even though Constantin Buda declared that the Romanian market needs to be educated regarding data destruction and the laws applied for it, our country offers great development potential for Blancco because of the continuous expansion of the software market.

Founded in 1997 in Finland, Blancco is at the moment the number one supplier of data destruction both for companies and for governmental organizations. At the moment, Blancco is present in more than 20 countries is Europe, USA, Asia and Australia both by local partners and by own offices.
